We could not have lasted in this industry for more than three decades without the knowledge, skills, and experience of our eye doctors. This past June, we have added another expert at providing excellent eye care in Fairfax, VA, to our experienced eye care team. One of her undeniable strengths is her impressive educational background. She earned her degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech, on top of having Spanish Studies as her minor. In May, 2016, she received her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Vision Science under her belt.
In addition to her impressive academic standing, Dr. Ardura also has remarkable field experience. When she had her clinical training at NSU’s eye clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she effectively managed both adult and pediatric vision disorder cases. This opportunity exposed her to diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases.
Dr. Ardura is experienced with providing contact lens fittings, low vision management, and vision therapy services as well. She finished comprehensive clinical training rotations at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and at the William Bryan Jennings Dorn VA Medical Center. These experiences have prepared her to be your educated eye doctor in Fairfax, VA.
Her engagement in outreach programs radiates her sincere desire to promote better eyesight for everyone. Since 2013, she has been participating in various volunteer opportunities within the South Florida area. She also shared her time and expertise in providing full optometric services to approximately 400 inhabitants in St. Mary, Jamaica.
